SERDANG: Two teenage boys were arrested yesterday, for allegedly launching a flower vase towards the fence of the Serdang police station on Sunday morning.

Serdang district police chief Assistant Commissioner A A Anbalagan said the two 17-year-old suspects were arrested at Taman Serdang Jaya, Seri Kembangan at 4pm.

"A check was made and found that one of the suspects is a student, while the second suspect is unemployed.

"Guided by the two suspects, we confiscated stone fragments from vases that were used in three incidents.

"This includes a case of mischief against the fence of the Serdang police station which is believed to have been committed by the two suspects," he said in a statement today.

Anbalagan said police also seized the clothes worn by the two on the day of the incident and they will be taken to the Petaling Jaya magistrate's court this morning to obtain a remand order.

"The case is being investigated according to Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief," he said.
