KUALA PILAH: Police have arrested a man suspected of attacking a nurse, causing her to be found unconscious by the side of a road last Friday

The 34-year-old suspect was detained at the Kuala Pilah police headquarters at 4pm yesterday.

Kuala Pilah police chief Superintendent Amran Mohd Gani said the magistrate's court this morning issued a four-day remand order on the suspect.

It is believed that the nurse was attacked at Jalan Simpang Tiga Dangi in Johor.

He said the police were still investigating the incident, including his relationship with the nurse.

The female nurse was found unconscious about 10pm on Friday, lying facedown beside her car at Jalan Simpang Tiga Dangi. The engine of the car was still running, and her shoes were missing.

She is believed to have been pulled out of her car before being attacked.

Kuala Pilah deputy police chief Deputy Superintendent Syahrul Anuar Abdul Wahab had said the victim later reported to be suffering from head injuries from being beaten.
