KUALA LUMPUR: A civil servant is expected to be charged at the Shah Alam Sessions Court tomorrow for falsifying urine test results.

The man is expected to be produced at the court at about 8.30am.

It had been reported that the man allegedly received payments of between RM500 and RM1,500 to prepare falsified urine samples in a case related to illegal substance abuse.

It was also previously reported that he had been investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission.

Last month, the Health Ministry denied media reports saying that 10 pathology experts were transferred out of a government hospital due to a case related to fake urine test results.

It said in a statement that urine test come under the scope of duties of medical laboratory technologists (JTMP) and does not involve pathology experts.
