PUTRAJAYA: Three individuals wearing helmets robbed a goldsmith shop in a supermarket in Kota Warisan, Sepang, and escaped with the jewellery, yesterday.

Sepang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof, when contacted, confirmed that police had received a report regarding the incident which is believed to have happened at 8.15pm yesterday.

He said the investigation is still ongoing and the facts of the case will be handed over to the Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.

"The complete report on the case will be shared with the media after getting permission from the Selangor Police Chief," he said.
