MIRI: A 53-year-old housewife was injured on her waist after she was run over by her cheating husband at Kampung Wireless.
In the 11.57pm incident on Thursday, the victim, who’s been married for 30 years with eight children, was trying to approach her husband’s car that was parked by the roadside.
She didn’t expect her 50-year-old husband, who was with another woman in the car, to suddenly hit the accelerator and run her over, causing the victim to be thrown off the road.
Miri police chief Assistant Commissioner Lim Ming Seah said the victim has been admitted to Miri Hospital.
“Police have received a report on the incident and already arrested the husband for further investigation,” he said in a statement today.
The case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code.
