KULIM: A man with a criminal record for attempted murder was arrested after going berserk and wrecking his sister’s car using a pair of nunchakus at a house in Taman Serai here yesterday.

Kulim district police chief, Superintendent Ahmad Nasir Jaafar, said the 49-year-old man came to his elder sister’s house at 7.40pm and flew into an inexplicable rage.

“The 60-year-old woman, upon seeing her brother’s behaviour, proceeded to lock the door to prevent a fight breaking out between him and her husband,

“The man became even more enraged and proceeded to destroy the woman’s possessions. He also smashed the woman’s car, a Proton Waja, using a pair of wooden nunchakus,” he said.
