Samsung Malaysia Electronics showcased its revolutionary 2016 SUHD TVs with Quantum dot display and top of the range audio systems for the next level of entertainment at the Kuala Lumpur AV show recently.
The 2016 SUHD TVs boast Ultra High Definition (UHD) supreme picture quality and sleek designs that has garnered international recognitions. Its Quantum dot display technology is the first in the industry, offering exceptional brightness, contrast as well as the most life-like colour expressions compared to other 4K TVs.
It also comes in a so-called bezel-less curved design that enhances the immersive viewing experience by achieving a 360° design that looks beautiful from every angle, anywhere in the home.

The 2016 SUHD TVs Samsung unveiled also features a new Smart Hub function that now automatically detects and recognises all connected home entertainment devices, making it possible for users to use them without having to set it up first. Samsung has further consolidated the need for multiple remotes to control several connected devices – with Samsung's Smart TV, users only need one Samsung Smart Control remote to navigate it all.
On top of the SUHD TV line-up, Samsung introduced the latest additions to its audio product line-up, the HW-K950 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos technology – the industry's first soundbar package to include two Dolby Atmos-enabled wireless rear speakers. The complete HW-K950 package delivers incredible 5.1.4-channel sound, giving listeners an immersive cinematic audio experience.
Also unveiled were Samsung's first Ultra HD Blu-ray Player, the HDR-compatible UBD-K8500, which offers four times the resolution and 64 times higher colour expression than conventional Blu-ray players.
Throughout the three-day event, Samsung extended a pre-order deal for its latest HW-K950 Premium Soundbar with Dolby Atmos technology at RM5,999. Visitors who purchased the soundbar also received a complimentary Blu-Ray Player (BD-H6500) worth RM499. Samsung also offered a free Samsung Curved Soundbar (worth up to RM3,499) and Blu Ray Player (worth up to RM499), along with a purchase-with-purchase promotion of the 360 Speaker WAM with any purchase of the new SUHD TV.
The new Premium Soundbar will be available for purchase at selected Samsung Experience Stores and authorised dealerships end of August onwards; while the UHD Blu-ray Player will reach Malaysian shores in the last quarter of the year.
