GEORGE TOWN: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng opened his contentious RM2.8 million bungalow for a press visit today.

Admitting that his wife Betty Chew was not too keen on letting the house be sprung into the spotlight, Lim admitted that it was necessary for him to do so.

"I have nothing to hide. Just want all of you to not take videos inside the home. My wife wants the privacy accorded to our family please," he said in a briefing at his porch.

Lim also handed out drinking water to some 50 press members present.
