KLANG: A 47-year old woman died when she had an epilepsy attack while driving and crashed onto two parked trucks at Lorong Batu Nilam 28E, Bukit Tinggi, killing her instantly.

The victim, G. Nageshparym died from serious neck injuries in the accident that took place at about 9.30am.

Klang Selatan traffic and public order chief deputy superintendent Rosly Abd Rahman said that the victim was believed to have suffered from epilepsy attack based on medical information provided by her family members.

He said the victim, who was a manager at a laundry shop in the district was on her way to work when she failed to control her vehicle, a Proton Persona.

"Based on the information we received from her family, the victim has been suffering from several epilepsy attacks before the incident," he said.

He added that further checks by the medical team who was despatched to scene concluded that the victim died because of the accident and her remains were sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah hospital (HTAR) for post-mortem.

"The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transportation Act 1987 and the police seek the help of the public who might have witnessed the incident to come forward," he said.
