KUALA LUMPUR: Former Armed Forces chief General (Rtd) Tan Sri Mohd Sany Abdul Ghaffar passed away at the National Heart Institute at 2.20pm today.
Mohd Sany's remains were taken to the Masjid Khalid Al Walid at the Ministry of Defence to enable members of the public to pay their last respects, and would later be taken to the Armed Forces cemetery in Port Dickson for burial.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah is expected to pay his last respects at the mosque at 5pm.
