GEORGE TOWN: Police rounded up a total of 42 drug addicts aged between 30 and 50 while they were high on heroin and a variety of other drugs at a landfill in Jelutong near here today.
The swoop on the drug addicts, which included two women, started at 4am and ended at 10am.
State Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department chief Superintendent Guan Beng Kang said the operation was conducted after investigations were made at the area.
