PUTRAJAYA: 26-year-old man has been detained in connection with the death of 30-year-old Rosshida Abdullah whose body was found in Cyberjaya yesterday.
Sepang Deputy Police Chief Superintendent Abdul Aziz Ali said the man, who was reportedly the victim’s fiancée, had admitted to throwing her off a flyover bridge at the Pulau Meranti exit, near here, recently.
He said the suspect has been remanded for seven days beginning today while the investigation was classified under section 302 of the penal code for murder.
“Further investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the killing,” he said when contacted.
Rosshidah’s body was found sprawled in a bushy area which was situated under a 30-meter-high bridge.
Her body was found with several personal possessions including a handbag containing a note that detailed her troubles with RM50,000 debt taken from a loan shark.
