In line with Movement Restriction Order (MCO), Palace of the Golden Horses has set up a special ‘We Care Programme’ to help those in need and lighten their burden.
Starting from yesterday (March 20) onwards, the hotel will be distributing packed food and packet rice to selected homes comprise of the old folks, orphanage homes, foreigners’ squatters and single mothers surrounding 5km radius of the hotel.
Country Heights Holdings Berhad founder and executive chairman, Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew says: "This truly is a tough time for everyone and it’s affecting the society and country deeply. I believe that God is testing us, and we need to put our effort together to pull through during these tough times.”
“I believe the order will affect the people, especially who are dependent with their daily jobs,” he adds.
The hotel is temporarily suspending its operations until the MCO ends on March 31 and will be back into operations the following day.
