KUALA LUMPUR: Celebrity preacher Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid has been "relieved" of his hosting duties on the Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) religious-themed programme 'Salam Baitullah', yet again.
His removal is the result of what had transpired during the programme which aired last night when Don Daniyal had allegedly caused another controversy, according to a news report today.
The particular episode was the second night of his return to the show, after being 'temporarily relieved' earlier.
RTM director-general Datuk Suhaimi Sulaiman took to X earlier this afternoon to comment on the matter.
"After we gave him another chance, after we consulted the religious authorities and reminded him of what he could or couldn't say, he should've been more careful in anticipating the viewers' response.
"He should be wise enough and have some self-control. Don't play the victim. So sorry, we have to relieve you. I'm sorry to all, and hang in there, team," he wrote in the tweet.
