KUALA LUMPUR: Singer and actress Bella Astillah "thanked" actress Ruhainies Zainul Ilyas following her divorce from Singaporean singer-actor Aliff Aziz today.
"For the last time I want to say congratulations to my former best friend Ruhainies.
"You have succeeded in ending my marriage, and making my children lose their father," said Bella, 30, in an Instagram message.
Ruhainies and Aliff were caught for khalwat at her condominium here on March 8.
Bella was divorced by Aliff with a single 'talak' at the Federal Territories Syariah Court in Jalan Duta at 1.10pm today.
She said: "After this episode, I have decided not to love anyone too deeply, for if we split, it really hurts.
"I always believe that second chances can change us, but we have to make good use of them.
"If we repeat our old mistakes, it is no longer a mistake but a choice."
Bella also said that she had "had enough" and decided to move on.
"I pray that my new life with my children will be better. I will do my best to be a great parent.
"Thank you all my friends, the media and my beloved family for supporting me."
