KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran actor Azri Iskandar's upcoming marriage to businesswoman Datuk Noora Kay has been called off.
Noora, 48, said in an interview with entertainment portal Sensasi TV yesterday that they had "split" and the marriage was not happenning.
"I leave my fate to God. All I can say now is I am single, having split with Azri," said Noora, adding that she was more comfortable being a single parent to her children.
"I need to make the right decision, in the best interest of my family."
Azri, 56, reportedly "found love again" with Noora a few months ago.
His relationship with the businesswoman was approved by his former wife, actress Ellie Suriaty Omar, who even chose to help manage the planned wedding.
