KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Shila Amzah, who is still in confinement, reminds everybody not to believe any advertisement about online trading involving her name.

In a news report today, the 33-year-old artiste said that the get-rich-quick investment scheme is too good to be true.

"This is beyond stupid. I'd like to point out that I've never done any 'trading.'

"Please spread the word out especially to the elderly people who could fall prey to such schemes.

Earlier, a website published what was alleged to be a statement by the singer claiming that she had struck gold after her online trading had given her a high return after only 30 minutes.
