LONG-running local television channel TV3 celebrates its 40th anniversary tomorrow (June 1).
Over the years, it has become a go-to channel for Malaysians for news, quality entertainment and informative programming.
To mark this milestone, TV3 will be rebranding its main programming slots, Station ID and more to reflect a fresh approach in line with the theme "Inspirasi Generasi".
SPECIAL PROGRAMMES
Throughout June, the channel will also highlight various special programmes and exciting activities to liven up the atmosphere for its loyal viewers.
For the first time, TV3 has collaborated with Muzium Telekom's Galeri Seni Digital in Kuala Lumpur to organise the Immersio: Inspirasi Generasi TV3 event, which is currently running until June 9.
The special event is divided into three distinct categories, mainly the Inspirasi Art Showcase (from now till June 9), Inspirasi Bazaar (June 1 and 2) and Lights & Arts Expressive Showcase (June 1 to 2 and June 8 to 9).
The art showcase will feature interactive light shows and contemporary art. Visitors can experience the world of TV3 through the "project mapping" method, which displays the works of six local artists who have transformed six rooms at Muzium Telekom.
The art project aims to explore TV3 through the current generation's perspective on what it takes to be a source of inspiration round the clock and how this can be reflected via the channel's main programmes.
Families will be able to spend weekends at the bazaar, which will feature stalls selling various items, busking sessions in collaboration with Atas Angin, and many other interesting activities.
The Lights & Arts Expressive Showcase will be treating visitors to intimate hour-plus performances by artistes such as Aina Abdul, Dayang Nurfaizah, Naim Daniel and Alyph.
As a token of TV3's appreciation to its loyal viewers, visitors will also have the chance to win attractive prizes, such as Samsung televisions and Tonton subscription vouchers for a year through the Golden Ticket Hunt event.
Visitors only need to look for tickets hidden inside Muzium Telekom on on June 1 and 2.
There are 40 tickets hidden in various spots within the building.

TV3 chief executive officer Nini Yusof expressed her excitement her excitement about the anniversary celebrations.

"Visitors who attend can donate to Media Prima's Palestinian Humanitarian Fund throughout the duration of the event.
"We stand with the Palestinian people in their struggle and we will continue to support humanitarian and just efforts."
In conjunction with the anniversary celebrations, TV3 viewers can look forward to an array of interesting programmes covering various genres, as well as talkshows and dramas.
