KUALA LUMPUR: Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo has announced the Asian and Australian legs of her Guts world tour and she will be performing for the first time in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Oct 1.

The 21-year-old American pop star has also included stops in Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan, aside from multiple concerts in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.

According to news reports, the singer could also be performing in the Philippines as the poster for the announcement included a line that read, "Stay tuned Manila!"

Rodrigo, who is of Filipino, German, and Irish descent, first gained attention when she starred in the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark (2016) and the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2019).

She then released her debut studio album, Sour, in 2019 and her sophomore effort, Guts, last year, both of which topped various major music charts around the world.

Known for the hits songs Drivers License, Good 4 U, Deja Vu and Vampire, Rodrigo has won multiple awards, including a Grammy for Best New Artiste in 2022 and seven Billboard Music Awards.
