KUALA LUMPUR: While the Aidilfitri period is a joyous time for most, it's a sad one this year for TV host and actress Ain Edruce and her family.
In an entry on her Instagram today, the usually bubbly 32-year-old artiste revealed that she recently had a miscarriage.
In the post, Ain made a collage of video clips and images from the time she found out that she was pregnant for the second time until the recent harrowing episode when she was rushed to a hospital after experiencing bleeding.
"I'll just keep this (video collage) here as a remembrance. Soraya (her firstborn) is not meant to have a younger sibling just yet," she wrote.
Ain also said her recent experience was more painful than giving birth to Soraya three years ago.
"The most potent painkiller would not be able to stop me from experiencing the pain I was going through then.
"Never before have I felt such an excruciating pain," wrote Ain who added that both she and her daughter cried when she broke the sad news to her little one.
Ain and businessman Amirul Hafiz tied the knot on Dec 13, 2019.
