KUALA LUMPUR: "I have been Aliff Aziz's lover since January 2024".
This was an alleged confession by a woman named Sarah Yasmine on Instagram yesterday, adding fuel to the fire on the ongoing marital scandal involving the popular Singaporean actor and singer.
The woman, believed to be from Singapore, also claimed that Aliff was actually being used by local actress, Ruhainies.
"First of all, I do not intend to twist the situation or humiliate any party, but my purpose is to explain the real situation.
"I have been Aliff's lover since January and what happened was certainly wrong, but it is not right to place the blame entirely on Aliff alone," she wrote on Instagram.
In the message, Sarah also presented the chronology of her relationship with Aliff and claimed that Aliff 'cheated' on her when he was in a relationship with Ruhainies.
She also claimed to have evidence of Aliff's conversation with Ruhianies on WhatsApp that showed they were in love.
"I would like to apologise to any party affected by my statement and disclosure. To be honest, this was a mistake on my part," she wrote.
Sarah also admitted that Aliff's wife, actress and singer Bella Astillah, knows of her existence.
The post was accompanied by a video of Aliff and Sarah hugging each other's arms and kissing each other's cheeks.
Aliff and Bella's domestic controversy has been the talk of the town after the actor was caught for khalwat with Ruhainies by the religious authorities in a luxury condominium, here, last March.
Bella, who claimed that Aliff had previously cheated on her 11 times, filed for divorce at the Federal Territories Syariah Court on March 11.
