KUALA LUMPUR: Celebrity couple, Aliff Aziz and Bella Astillah, were ordered to undergo the Conciliatory Committee (JKP) process at the Federal Territories Syariah Court here, on June 4, after the Singapore-born actor did not agree to the divorce petition filed by his wife because he still loves his family.

In the second mention of Bella's petition for divorce at the same court today, Aliff said that he needed time to think, according to a Berita Harian report.

"It's true Your Honour, I do not agree (to the divorce request). This is not a decision that can be thought out in a day, I need time to think to make this big decision," he said.

Meanwhile, Aliff's syariah lawyer Hadi Salleh said that his client did not agree with Bella's petition for divorce.

"I state that the defense does not agree with the request submitted by the plaintiff and continues with the next process, which is JKP," he said.

On March 11, Bella, 30, filed for divorce from Aliff, 33, at the Federal Territories Syariah Court, here.

Last month, Bella and Aliff became the talk of the town after he was arrested with fellow artiste Ruhainines, 32, for alleged khalwat in a luxury condominium, here.
