KUALA LUMPUR: Media Prima Audio (MPA) has once again emerged the top radio station in the country with 5.6 million listeners.

In a statement yesterday, MPA said that there had been a consistent rise in previous-week listeners aged 15 and above in Peninsular Malaysia.

"Hot FM is the number one radio station in Malaysia for the third consecutive year, with 4 million weekly listeners. Fly FM remained the top English radio station wiht 2.15 million weekly listeners.

"The innovative introduction of Aina as the first AI radio announcer, as well as field activities such as the Sirap Bandung Cincau campaign at the BlackPink Concert and the Fly Nite Club Tour have helped Fly FM stay at the top."

Kool 101, MPA's second Malay radio station achieved phenomenal growth with 234,000 listeners in six months.

"Kool 101 has won the hearts of Malaysians with its positive messages and inspirational stories.

"As for Eight FM, the Chinese language radio station has had 506,000 weekly listeners."
