KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Mia Sara Shauki fully accepts her father's second marriage to his manager Marcella.

The 25-year-old actress and daughter to multi-hyphenate artiste Datuk Afdlin Shauki, said she would support all the decisions made by her parents, especially when it comes to their happiness.

"I'm all right with the marriage (and the stepmother), because I've been close to her even before they were married," said Mia.

She added that although Marcella is only three years older than herself, she didn't see it as an issue, especially if the marriage could make her father happy.

"Who doesn't want to see their parents happy? Who am I to stop them from moving on with their lives and being happy?" said Mia, who added that the recent Aidilfitri celebration was a joyous occasion at home with everyone enjoying time together.

Mia told reporters this when met at the gala premiere of the film 'Geng Kubur' held in Petaling Jaya, Selangor last night.

The actress plays a lead role in the mystery/thriller film directed by Gavin Yap, which also stars newcomers Firdaus Sufiyan, Sasidaran Subramaniam, and Lion Chong.

The film opens in cinemas on Apr 25.
