KUALA LUMPUR: "I feel sorry for what she's had to face and deal with all these years," said singer Wani Kayrie about the domestic troubles that have befallen her cousin Bella Astillah, whose husband is fellow singer Aliff Aziz.

However, the 24-year-old artiste, whose real name is Syazwani Abdullah, did not want to interfere in their personal affairs.

"I don't want to comment on anything even though I know what she went through during the time we participated in the Family Duo reality programme together.

"I also don't have the right to speak because I'm not married and I don't know the ups and downs of what its like to be in a married household.

"At the same time, I can't judge any party because I'm only privy to one side of the story. I have messaged Bella but I don't want to disturb her, and I hope that her family issue will get resolved quickly and smoothly," she said in a Harian Metro report today.

Wani added that she has not seen Bella in a long time but had messaged her in conjunction with her recent birthday.

"I haven't seen her for a long time. The last time we met was probably earlier this year at an event.

"I rarely message her except on her birthday since our birthdays are close.

"I recently sent her a short message, to inform her that I'm praying for all of her affairs to be made easier by God. I didn't say much. We've had 'girl's talk' sessions together so I hope she understood what I was trying to convey," she said.

Previously, Bella's name became the talk of the town from March 8 when her husband Aliff was arrested for alleged khalwat with actress Ruhainies in a luxury condominium, here.

The mother of two later filed an express divorce application two days after the incident.
