KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's top singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza and Dayang Nurfaizah will be part of an exciting lineup of local artistes that will perform at the Loop Music Festival set to take place at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, here on May 11.

The event promises something for everyone from pop and ballads to soul and rock music courtesy of other performers such as XPDC, Masdo, Insomniacks, Amelina, Noraniza Idris and Sufian Suhaimi.

Festival goers will also get to see Aisha Retno, Ronnie Hussein, Nadeera Zaini, Usop, Lucidrari, Disko Santan (Codogg & Awyn) and Arish Mikael in action.

"We are very careful in the selection of artistes, who have been chosen based on the theme and concept of the Loop Music Fest.

"Not only do they represent their respective eras and genres, they are also acts that dominate the country's music charts.

"These artistes have made a lasting impact and are still influential today," said Loop Music Fest producer, Rosix Omar, in a recent statement.

The upcoming indoor music festival, organised by RJ Sales Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Air Asia and the Tune Group, will take place from 2pm to 11.30pm and is expected to draw over 11,000 music fans.

AirAsia will also hold a carnival at the Axiata grounds during the festival period, where visitors can win flight tickets to selected destinations and other prizes through competitions and lucky draws.

Tickets priced from RM168 to RM478 can be purchased via www.ticket2u.com.
