KUALA LUMPUR: Versatile actor Faizal Hussein does not visit the gym but he never forgets his daily exercise routine.
The 57-year-old star of Bunohan and One Cent Thief stays fit and strong by lifting dumbbells 150 to 300 times a day, a practice which he has perfected throughout his four decades in showbiz.
"Besides regular exercise I also watch what I eat. Having a balanced diet is crucial and whenever I have to play tough guys I increase my protein intake," said Faizal in a news report recently.
Faizal is currently starring in a Viu drama series W: Two Worlds where he plays two characters namely a mild-mannered family man and a ruthless assassin.
W: Two Worlds is a local adaptation of a popular South Korean drama series. It also stars Elizabeth Tan, Daiyan Trisha, Hun Haqeem and Mierul Aiman, and is directed by Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim.
