KUALA LUMPUR: Although it has been six long years since legendary K-pop trio FT Island last came to Malaysia, their fans here seem to be still supporting them until today.

In a news report recently, the tickets for their upcoming concert here, slated to be staged at Zepp Kuala Lumpur next month, had all been snapped up in mere two days.

The trio, made up of Lee Hong-gi, Choi Min-hwan and Lee Jai-jin, was reportedly excited to perform here again.

"After such a long time since our last visit, we didn't expect that our fans would still be as excited to see us here again.

"We are happy and deeply grateful for the support given to us all these years.

"This will be quite a rare opportunity for us to perform in front of fans there again. This will be a very special moment for us too," the members of the south Korean band were reported as saying.

The band also requested concertgoers to come to the concert dressed in yellow and black outfits.

The 2024 FTISLAND Live Hey Day In Kuala Lumpur concert, presented by Qew Communications Sdn Bhd, will be staged at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Feb 24.
