PETALING JAYA: Popular South Korean actor Lee Jae Wook will be making a special appearance at PJPAC 1 Utama today to the thrill of his fans.

The 24-year-old heartthrob is in town to officially receive his appointment as Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism Organisation.

Famed through the fantasy period drama Alchemy Of Souls which was a hit on Netflix, the popular K-Drama star said that he was looking forward to meeting his Malaysian fans.

Wearing a white shirt with a black vest and black pants, Lee will be meeting some lucky fans for the "Annyeong Kawan with Lee Jae Wook" meet-and-greet session organised by Korea Tourism Organisation at 5pm today.

Marking his first visit to Malaysia, Lee said Malaysia had a lot of similarities with his hometown of Seoul in terms of the landscape, and he hoped Malaysians would be able to visit South Korea to enjoy its various attractions.

"Three main reasons you should visit South Korea are its food, sport as well as the unique night and day experience," he said at a press conference today.

He added that one of his favourite attractions was Han River because of its beautiful scenic view.
