KUALA LUMPUR: Businesswoman and former Nona host Norjuma Habib Mohamed has been served with an arrest warrant by the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.

The warrant was issued by Sessions Court judge Yasmin Abdul Razak yesterday, following Norjuma's failure to cooperate with the court which is hearing two lawsuits against her by Fame Up Entertainment.

Fame Up filed the lawsuits in 2019 and 2020 alleging that Norjuma slandered them.

Fame Up's lawyer Muhammad Hassanuddin Roslan said that they were unable to serve the arrest warrant to Norjuma, as she was not at home.

"We will apply for a new date to serve the warrant to her," he said in an interview with Harian Metro Online.

"We can also give it to the police, so that they can help find her."

Fame Up is seeking RM260,000 in compensation from Norjuma as well as an apology for defaming them in the print media.
