HONG KONG: After taking a short break from touring last month, BTS resumed its sold-out Love Yourself world tour this week with a four-day concert in Hong Kong.

The second show, held on Thursday, saw tens of thousands of fans, dubbed ‘Army’, filling the AsiaWorld-Expo to the brim to see their favourite South Korean boy group in action.

As expected of its world-class reputation, the seven members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook showcased stellar and energetic showmanship throughout the 160-minute show.

They performed a total of 27 songs, including its massive worldwide hits Idol, Mic Drop, Blood, Sweat and Tears, DNA, Fire, Fake Love.

When Magic Shop, a song dedicated to Army, was performed, the crowd sang along to the heart-warming lyrics together – their collective voices reverberating across the arena.

Besides that, the BTS boys also performed their respective solo tracks which earned equal frenzied reaction from the crowd.

The rappers of the group, RM, Suga and J-Hope, brought down the roof with their sizzling verses while vocalists Jungkook, V, Jin and Jimin left fans swooning with their smooth runs.

Also thrilling fans were the sharp yet sleek choreography that the members displayed from start to finish, that beautifully complemented the song performances.

Throughout the concert, the crowd waved their BTS light sticks. The colours from the light sticks were controlled by the concert’s production crew via Bluetooth.

“Thank you for your love and support, and please be with us till the end,” said J-Hope appreciatively to the screaming fans.

The Love Yourself tour will wrap up in Bangkok next month.

Up next, BTS will embark on its continuation, the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour, which is set to take place at massive world-renowned stadiums in the US and Europe.
