Local lifestyle label dUCk has put a new flower in its classic Blooming dUCk collection to end 2022 and usher 2023 on a pretty note.
The Anemone flower joins other blooms in the brand's line-up, including orchids, roses, peonies, and tuberose.
The dUCk Group co-founder Vivy Yusof says 2022 was a roller coaster year so the brand wanted to end it with a sweet collection.
"Flower is always synonymous with dUCk under our Blooming range and we've experimented with many. This time we chose the beautiful anemone flower that blooms when the sun comes out, which is the perfect symbol of all of us blooming together to welcome a new year and a new beginning," she says.
The anemone is illustrated anticipating sunrise on the window sill, a symbol of the window of opportunity. Inspired by the nature of anemone, the flower closes when it's dark and only opens up in the morning.
As the sun sets on another year, the Blooming collection keeps our hopes up for the sun to rise again and shine a light on new opportunities, perspectives, and adventures ahead.
