When the Fresh Herb Origin Serum by Nacific was introduced in the market, it quickly established a reputation for itself.

Unlike most beauty products that offer a gentle yet effective approach, this one apparently takes the phrase 'beauty is pain' quite literally with the powerful and painful effects it has on the skin.

Once applied, you will feel a tingling or stinging sensation, letting you know that the product is doing its work in addressing those skin concerns.

For precise application, the serum comes with a handy dropper. You'll notice that there are two distinct layers which separates the oil and watery components.

There is a strong, zesty citrus scent which I like but it may be a little overwhelming for those who are sensitive to smell.

I put two drops of the serum on my skin, gently massaging it over my face, waiting for that tingling sensation to happen.

To be honest, there isn't much of a stinging or tingling sensation. I do feel that it leaves a sticky effect on my skin-- which I'm not a fan of-- but it does make my skin feel well moisturised.

I typically apply it at night and noticed that my skin feels less dry than usual. I love everything about the product, except its sticky effect. The sticky feeling will eventually disappear, but only when the product has been fully absorbed into the skin.

The serum has a notorious reputation of being painful upon application.

OTHER PRODUCTS

Nacific has its own Fresh Herb Origin Eye Cream which carries a hypoallergenic formula that can be easily absorbed into the skin. I love that it's non-sticky and doesn't tingle!

No drastic improvements just yet under the eye, but I'm hopeful it will give me some progress over time.

I've had bad experiences with toners before – some sting, some causes my skin to appear drier than usual.

Nacific's origin toner isn't like that, the water-light formula works well on my skin. The blend of water lily extract and amino acids is supposed to remove impurities and improve the overall skin texture. A perfect toner to include in my routine after cleansing.

I also love the pink jar that houses the Pink Ahabha Cream. The potion contains watermelon extract which helps get rid of dead skin cells while giving skin a moist finish.

In addition to brightening the skin, it also helps to improve skin's elasticity and fight off wrinkles.

I like the semi-translucent texture, it's like an in-between gel and cream. With that it's super easy to apply and it easily gets absorbed into the skin, and it smells amazing.
