Lilit jumps on the sustainability wagon with its latest collection called Re:Lit, reviving pieces from the brand's past collections.

To create beautiful pieces from this collection, Lilit worked with Batik Boutique, a social enterprise that empowers local artisans.

Re:Lit features a line-up of upcycled pieces with tie-bleached designs such as tunic tops, boyfriend shirts to hoodies and denim skirts.

The brand says it has a responsibility when it comes to environmental sustainability.

"It is Lilit's first step reinventing and creating uniquely desirable and timeless pieces that are sustainable. Most importantly, offering selected Lilit pieces a second chance," it said.

The line-up includes this tie-dye hoodie.

In addition to offering a collection of upcycled pieces, Lilit also held several initiatives to promote awareness on sustainable fashion such as setting up clothes donation boxes in its stores at KL East Mall and IOI City Mall.

The clothes donated will be upcycled and donated to underprivileged communities to reduce fabric waste in landfills.

Lilit also held an Instagram Live talk with Kloth and Batik Boutique to educate others on how they can take small steps to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

The collection ranges from RM109 to RM179 and is available at www.lilitstore.com.
