MUHARRAM, the first month of the Islamic lunar calendar, marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year and serves as a time of reflection, remembrance, and spiritual renewal.

As Muslims introspect and strengthen their faith, they often listen to and delve deeper into the beauty and wisdom of the Quran through the transformative power of its verses as well as the recitations of Qaris (Quran reciters).

Muslim Pro is briging these three reciters to the app, Sheikh Bandar Baleela, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, and Sheikh Ali ibn Abdur-Rahman Al Hudhayfee for listeners to listen and learn/master their recitation of the Quran.

The new addition to the app offer seven types of Qirat (ways of reciting the Quran), each with its own unique tajweed (a set of rules for the proper pronunciation and recitation of the Quran), and 7 Ahruf (dialects of the Quran.

Find out more about the three reciters and what makes them unique:

He is renowned for his unique recitation style, characterized by his melodious voice, heartfelt delivery, and skilled modulation. As a child, Sheikh Baleelah memorised the entire Quran. His proficiency in recitation was nurtured and developed under the tutelage of several renowned Quran teachers, whose lessons played a vital role in his journey. Many admire his ability to evoke emotions through his recitation, making it a memorable experience for those who listen. Additionally, in 2017, Al-Sudais oversaw the production of the film "One Day in the Haram," a compelling portrayal of the holy sites in Makkah, narrated from the perspective of the dedicated workers.

He is highly regarded for his precise and emotionally charged recitation of the Qur'an, adhering to the principles of Tajweed, the art of beautiful recitation. His exceptional talent was called upon during the Ramadan Taraweeh prayers in 2006 (1427 AH), where he was entrusted with reciting the final surahs of the Qur'an and delivering the closing Dua, reaching millions of Muslims in Makkah and across the globe through television and radio broadcasts.
