RECENTLY, I got the chance to review

I was a bit sceptical when I received the review unit of the Samsung Bespoke Jet Complete Extra vacuum cleaner. Due to its high price for a vacuum cleaner, I wasn't sure if it was worth the price, which is RM4,399.

PERFORMANCE

At some point, the all-in-one clean station is pretty much… all in one.

The new clean station comes in the form of a stand for you to stick your vacuum in for it to clean and charge at the same time. And as someone who lacks the motivation to do many tasks for a machine, the feature comes in handy.

It uses an 'Air Pulse' technology to hygienically empty out the dustbin and have your vacuum ready and fully charged in no time.

Samsung claims that the power comes from the 210W suction power and the aerodynamic design that helps optimise the airflow. Based on my perusal, I'd say that the vacuum cleans up every nook and cranny of my house pretty well.

The handle is pretty light for someone with hands as slender as mine, and it is easy to manoeuvre it around the house even after almost 40 minutes of using it non-stop.

THEHEADS

Alas, I couldn't let the vacuum take all the credit since the heads have done more than I could ask for.

The Samsung Bespoke Jet Complete Extra also comes with a combination tool, extensive crevice tool, pet tool, and flexible tool. But my personal favourite is the Jet Dual Brush which comes with a soft roller as well as Nylon and rubber bristles in a single head.

Thanks to the hybrid design, I can easily transition between carpet to tiled or wooden floors seamlessly and rotate the 180-degree swivel head with ease.

A LIFESAVER

Testing them with rice, sugar, coffee powder, and cereals,  I find the Jet Dual Brush to pick up fine things (rice, sugar, and coffee powder) on carpets quite well and it performs better on tiles or hard floors too.

However, the size of the items getting picked up is limited to anything bigger than my thumb.

Given its name, the pet tool is designed to specifically pick up pet hair from areas that your hands couldn't compensate for while the flexible tool provides more angles for challenging areas.

Pet hair, hair, debris, and dust, all was well vacuumed by the Bespoke Jet Complete Extra.

BATTERY

Samsung mentioned the vacuum could last 120 minutes given that there are 2 battery packs included, which is double the number of its counterparts, the bespoke Jet Premium and bespoke Jet Complete.

One battery pack lasts you for 60 minutes, but it depends on the power intensity you're opting for.

On a single battery pack, the low power lasted 50 minutes, the medium was at 25 minutes and the maximum power was at 18 minutes.

VERDICT

At RM4,399, the Bespoke Jet Complete Extra is a worthwhile candidate as an all-in-one vacuum.

It is not the most budget-friendly vacuum you could choose from, but you do get some of the perks such as an extra battery pack, the unnecessary need to change the heads, and even a smoother hand-held experience.
