KUALA LUMPUR: Xiaomi has launched two new entry-level smartphones - the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C.
These big 6.53-inch Dot Drop-designed display phones feature MediaTek Helio G25 (Redmi 9A) and G35 (Redmi 9C) chipsets for smoother experience. Both devices are also equipped with 5000mAh high-capacity batteries.
Xiaomi's country manager for Malaysia and Singapore, Nicolas Shi, said both phones represent the brand's main philosophy of making technology accessible to everyone.
"We are excited to welcome the newest additions to the Red mi 9 family in Malaysia. Both Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C are in line with our main philosophy of providing innovation to everyone. In a world where staying connected is very important, we want everyone to enjoy a great smartphone with the latest technologies that will not break the bank," said Shi.
The Redmi 9A (2GB+32GB) will be available for RM319 (RRP: RM359) on July 7, 2020 as part of Shopee 7.7 sale campaign and Lazada too.
Available in three colour options – Granite Gray, Peacock Green and Sky Blue, both, the Redmi 9A and 9C phones will be available at all authorised Mi Stores in Malaysia and other official offline retailers at RM359 from July 14, 2020, while the Redmi 9C (2GB+32GB) is retailed at RM429 and will be available in Midnight Gray, Sunrise Orange and Twilight Blue.
