KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has named former Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) executive chairman Datuk Dr Nungsari Ahmad Radhi as its non-independent non-executive chairman.
According to MAHB, Nungsari, who is also an economist, had been with Mavcom since its establishment.
Presently, he acts as an independent non-executive board nember of Bank Negara Malaysia and is a member of the policy advisory committee to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the National Economic Action Council.
Dr. Nungsari also held executive roles in multiple Minister of Finance Inc entities including Khazanah Nasional Bhd, Prokhas Sdn Bhd, Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Bhd, DanaInfra Nasional Bhd and Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Bhd.
He also served on the boards of the National Productivity Council, Majlis Amanah Rakyat, Bank Pertanian Malaysia Bhd and CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd.
Nungsari's predecessor Tan Sri Zainun Ali, meanwhile, will assume the position of non-independent non-executive director on the MAHB board.
