KUALA LUMPUR: DC Healthcare Holdings Bhd registered a net loss of RM1.07 million and a revenue of RM17.57 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2023 (4Q23).

The aesthetic medical services provider noted that its revenue was underpinned by its aesthetic services, which contributed 83.1 per cent to the total quarterly revenue.

The company achieved a pre-tax profit of RM5.1 million for the year, after accounting for administrative expenses, including one-off costs related to the IPO exercise.

Adjusting for these non-recurring expenses, the adjusted pre-tax profit stood at RM8.9 million, showcasing the company's underlying operational strength, DC Healthcare said in a statement.

The company registered a loss per share of 0.11 sen for 4Q23.

Quarter-on-quarter, DC Healthcare saw a revenue uplift from RM15.5 million to RM17.6 million, mainly attributed to the enhanced performance in aesthetic services.

Managing director Chong Tze Sheng said this year has been a transformative period for DC Healthcare, underscored by its strategic expansions.

He added that while the company has navigated through short-term hurdles, its trajectory towards growth in 2024 looks incredibly promising.

"With these solid foundations, DC Healthcare is not just aiming for success in the coming year but setting the stage for a legacy of leadership and excellence in the industry," he said.

Chong said DC Healthcare is committed to continuous growth, with a focus on outlet expansion, including the recently operational branches in Ipoh and Taman Molek, Johor Bahru.

"The company also announced the appointment of Prof Datuk Dr Rohaizat Yon, renowned as "MoH Covid-19 War General", as the company's medical advisor.

"His vast experience in public health will be invaluable in guiding DC Healthcare's clinical policies and practices," he added.
