KUALA LUMPUR: Kelington Group Bhd has secured a RM143 million contract from China's largest semiconductor foundry to build a gas hookup system in Shanghai.
The contract entails the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of the entire system, and was awarded to Kelington's wholly-owned Kelington Engineering (Shanghai) Co.
"The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Kelington for the financial years ending December 31 2024 and December 31 2025 respectively," the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.
The actual contract value will be subject to the amount of work carried out, depending on variation orders, scope options and value engineering, Kelington added.
