KUALA LUMPUR: Mesiniaga Bhd has secured a RM38.1 million contract from the Royal Malaysian Customs for the provision of the MYGST System Maintenance Services and License Renewal from 2023 to 2025.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the total value of the contract is RM38.1 million inclusive of sales and service tax.
"The contract is effective immediately and to be completed by October 2025. "There is no automatic renewal clause in the contract," it noted.
Mesiniaga said the contract will not affect the share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of the company.
It is of the view that the contract will contribute positively to the company's earnings and net assets for the financial year ending December 31, 2023 onwards until the expiry of the contract.
Mesiniaga's share price was up 3.85 per cent to RM1.35 a share at midday break.
