WASHINGTON: Israel attacked a shelter belonging to medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing at least two people and wounding six others.

"Tonight Israeli forces conducted an operation in Al Mawasi, Khan Younis, Gaza, where a shelter hosting MSF staff and their families was shelled," Anadolu Agency reported MSF said on X, on Feb 20.

"We are horrified by what has taken place," it added.

Israel has pounded the Gaza Strip since Oct 7 killing over 29,195 people caused mass destruction and shortages of necessities leading to a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. - BERNAMA
