KUALA LUMPUR: Looking a lot like Genting Highlands with misty and foggy landscape, Singapore is currently enjoying a chilly climate with a wave of cold winds and temperatures dropping as low as 24 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Service Singapore's weather forecast, thundery rain showers are expected in almost all areas of the island republic, with temperature levels not surpassing the 29 degrees Celsius mark for today.

Singapore may also experience periods of heavy showers until tomorrow with a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, and thundery showers at noon are expected the following day till March 7.

Previously on Feb 28, a netizen in Singapore, Zhangxin Zheng captured a video of the Marina Bay Sands' towers being surrounded by fog and low-lying clouds at around 6.40pm.

In the video, it can be seen that the city is covered in fog and not much sunlight.

Singapore is no stranger to foggy weather, but it only happens occasionally.
