KUALA LUMPUR: Asian champion S. Sivasangari continued her giant-killing act by stunning world No. 12 and second seed Sarah Jane Perry of England to reach the final of the Hong Kong Football Club Open today.

World No. 22 Sivasangari needed just 28 minutes to win 11-8, 11-9, 11-2 to set up a title decider with fourth seed and world junior champion Amina Orfi.

The 18-year-old Egyptian upset world No. 6 and top seed Georgina Kennedy of England 11-4, 8-11, 5-11, 11-6, 11-8.

Sivasangari, who lost to Perry in the quarter-finals of the Singapore Open last week, said: "I feel happy to get my revenge and to be in the final.

''I think I'm getting my consistency better as I play each match.''

In the men's competition, national No. 1 Ng Eain Yow was also in top form as he stunned world No. 16 and top seed Mohamed El Sherbini of Egypt 11-9, 11-5, 11-4.

Asian champion Eain Yow will meet second seed Ely Abou Eleinen of Egypt in the final.

Eain Yow said: "I know I am capable of reaching the final with the quality of squash I have been playing.

''This was the first time we played and it's my first win over El Sherbini.

''I am excited to reach the final. I need to believe in myself and do the right thing on court tomorrow."
