KUALA LUMPUR: MSNS-SHA Sabah routed Kedah Eagles Junior 4-0 at Sungai Petani Stadium today to stay on course for a place in the quarter-finals of the national Junior Hockey League.

With the win, Sabah are in sixth place in Division One with nine points from three wins and four defeats.

Salman Sudirman scored a brace for Sabah in the fourth and 58th minutes. Chyreal Harvie Ahinin (20th) and Ronny Richard (26th) contributed the other goals for Sabah.

Sabah will wrap up their group fixtures against Pahang Hockey Academy Thunderbolts on Sunday, and a win will put them in a good spot to qualify for the last eight.

The top six teams from Division One and the top two from Division Two will feature in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Bukit Jalil Sports School Juniors will face PPHT Thunderbolts in the Division Two semi-final tomorrow. The other semi-final match is between KL City Hall and MSSPP-PSHA. Both matches will be played at the National Hockey Stadium.
