KUALA LUMPUR: Expect the name of Ethan Damien Goh to strike the Malaysian bowling lanes regularly in the near future.

The 12-year-old two-handed southpaw showed that he is a star in the making when he won not one, but all three age division titles at stake in the Brunswick Youth Challenge at the Sunway Mega Lanes today.

Ethan, who began bowling at the age of five, bagged the Under-13, Under-16 and Under-23 titles.

He also became the first ever Malaysian bowler to score a perfect game in a stepladder final.

In the Under-13 final, Ethan defeated Penang's Aiden Lim 248-183 before scoring a 237-224, 199-184 win over Aiman Syahin in the Under-16 final.

Ethan really made heads turn in the Under-23 final when he upset Pahang's Muhammad Nazmi 276-218, 300-203.

"It was really good exposure for Ethan to be able to compete with more experienced players that included national bowlers as well.

"My husband (Justin Ashley Goh) and I are proud of our son's achievements at such a young age," said Eunice Lim, Ethan's mother.
