KUALA LUMPUR: Luck was not on Sin Li Jane's side as the bowler was denied the women's title of the AMF World Cup by two pins in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Following impressive performances in the opening rounds, Li Jane, a former European Masters winner, took on pro bowler Shannon O'Keefe in the final.
The American won 238-236.
With the defeat, Li Jane equalled her runner-up feat in 2014.
"Congratulations to Li Jane, we are proud of her achievement.
"Li Jane played so well throughout the week," said Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress secretary Maradona Chok.
