KUALA LUMPUR: PDRM Blue Warriors ended Liaoning's winning streak by beating the China side 1-0 in the women's Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) today.

The decisive goal was scored by Fatin Shafika Sukri off a penalty corner in the 52nd minute at the Tun Razak Stadium.

Blue Warriors and Liaoning are tied with 12 points each from four wins and one loss.

Newcomers QNET Phoenix came from a goal down to hold double champions Negri Sembilan to a 1-1 draw at National Hockey Stadium.

China's Li Meiling gave Negri the lead in the 37th minute, but a minute later, QNET equalised through Nur Afiqah Syahzani Azhar.

QNET led the 10-team league with 13 points from four wins and one draw.
