BUKIT JALIL: The Young Tigers did just enough to beat Egypt 4-1 in the 9th-16th classification match of the Junior World Cup (JWC) at National Hockey Stadium here on Monday.

However, there was no fire in Amin Rahim's team as they gave away too many balls to Egypt and were lucky to get away unscatched.

The Malaysian goals were scored by Harris Iskandar Osman (eighth minute), Faris Harizan (16th), Danish Aiman Khairil (44th), Che Nur Aqilrullah (50th),

Basel Abdel Monem netted for Egypt in the 59th minute

Malaysia will play either Belgium or Canada in the 9th-12 classification on Wednesday.
