KAJANG: UDA Holdings Berhad (UDA) recently hosted the Golf Sahabat UDA 2024 at the Impian Golf & Country Club, taking proactive steps to strengthen networks and relationships with strategic partners.

The tournament drew a participation of 85 players, including representatives from government agencies under the Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Ministry (MECD), municipal councils, corporate partners, and the media.

"Golf is a healthy sport and leisure activity that fosters positive relationships and camaraderie among golfers. They say the best place to close deals is on the golf course," said UDA president and chief executive officer Datuk Mohd Salem Kailany.

He also expressed hope that the relationships built on the golf course would enhance cooperation between all parties involved.

Among the participants from UDA were Mohd Salem, group chief operating officer (property development) Encik Noor Azmi Salleh, group chief operating officer (property business & technical) Datuk Nordin Murat, and group chief operating officer (asset management) Azrudyn Rashid.

Representing the media were Media Prima Television Networks deputy group editor (news and current affairs) Azhari Muhidin, and Media Mulia group editor Azlan Jaafar.

Meanwhile, former UDA chairman Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias and board members Datuk Ir Johari Awang, and Dr Nordin Mohd Zain, presented the prizes to the winners.
